Powerlink and Infravision have now embarked on a multi-year agreement which will see drone stringing considered for all transmission projects across Queensland. The agreement will see Infravision supply a package that combines drones, smart puller tensioners and specialised payloads into one system that strings powerlines, installs hardware and conducts inspections.
At Infravision, we’re thrilled to highlight the success of our multi-year, long-term agreement with Powerlink Queensland – a partnership that’s transforming the way energy infrastructure is managed and maintained. While we’re proud to have been recognised with an award for innovation, the real story is the enduring collaboration and groundbreaking work we’ve achieved together.
This landmark agreement represents a shared commitment to innovation, safety, and efficiency. Over the years, Infravision and Powerlink have worked hand-in-hand to deploy advanced drone technology across Queensland’s energy network, our partnership has set new benchmarks for operational excellence.
The results speak for themselves: enhanced safety for workers, reduced downtime, and significant cost savings. But beyond the numbers, this collaboration has laid the foundation for a smarter, more resilient energy grid. By combining Infravision’s cutting-edge technology with Powerlink’s expertise, we’ve created a model for the future of infrastructure management.
This isn’t just a partnership – it’s a long-term commitment to innovation and progress. At Infravision, we’re proud to stand alongside Powerlink as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the energy sector.
