How drones help power Australia’s energy transition – Australian Financial Review 2024 Innovation Award

Infravision in Partnership with Powerlink was recognised for the Australian Financial Review (AFR) 2024 award for innovation in the energy sector for our groundbreaking use of drone technology in Australia’s energy transition – most recently working on the Genex Kidston Pumped Hydro Project together. This accolade highlights our commitment to innovation and excellence in infrastructure solutions.

As part of the award the AFR conducted a deep dive into the tragic circumstanced that led the energy sector to embrace new technologies and construction methods, and how that early investment is delivering big returns for safety and efficiency of construction as demand for energy continues to soar.

It was amazing to be selected as the winner in a tough crowd including the likes of Acciona Eregia, CoreLogic, RioTinto and Monash University.
