CAMERON VAN DER BERG
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Cameron is an engineer with a robotics and automation background in heavy industry, mining and energy. He previously founded a software startup with co-founder, Chris Cox, before returning to the energy industry to work on power transmission projects for Australia’s largest services company. Cameron’s role was to improve construction efficiency of major power transmission infrastructure projects which is where he first experienced the pain points and problems Infravision solves first-hand. Cameron is now leading Infravision to implement technology focused on modernizing the world’s electric grid.
Chris Cox
Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder
Chris spent 15 years in the Airforce and Army as a pilot, cavalry officer and staff officer before co-founding Infravision. During his time in the military, Chris gained extensive experience in both manned and unmanned aircraft where, prior to leaving, he was responsible for defense procurement and leading a team to introduce commercial unmanned aircraft to military units. He brings his experience and passion in scaling military forces to ensure Infravision’s technology and services can scale globally across cultures and socio-economic boundaries. Chris holds a Bachelor of Technology in Aviation and Risk Management.
Danny Van Der Berg
Chief Technology Officer
With 30+ years of industrial automation experience, Danny has combined high reliability operations skills and experience in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines with a flair for innovative design and construction methods to solve technical challenges. Danny has a strong focus on clearly defining a strategy to guide decision making and lead teams to successfully achieve operational objectives through industrial automation.
Paul Crawford
Chief Operations Officer
Paul has over 30 years experience in Aviation with Australia’s premier airline, Qantas Airways. In his role as Senior Executive Global Head of Engineering Paul was responsible for managing multiple international Engineering and Maintenance divisions holding financial, regulatory and execution responsibility across the globe for Qantas maintenance activities delivering both civil and military projects instrumental in maintaining Qantas as the safest and most profitable airline in the world. With a focus on leading large multi-disciplinary teams as the Accountable Manager responsible for global airworthiness, safety and quality alongside commercial outcomes of Engineering and Maintenance activities and staff Paul delivered global complex projects such as the successful Airbus / Qantas / Australian Air Force refueling tanker upgrades and held regulatory responsibility across the globe for Qantas maintenance activities. Paul has a focus on delivering and sustaining high-quality and safe operational outcomes expected of a High Reliability Organisation. Specializing in building motivated and engaged workforces from the ground up Paul has a demonstrated history of driving substantial transformational programs across large workforce groups delivering robust, scalable, sustainable, and efficient returns on investment.
Puon Penn
Chief Financial Officer
Puon Penn is former Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo. Puon spent over 20 years at Wells Fargo where he was most recently Executive Vice President and head of Wells Fargo’s venture investing business. Prior to that, Puon headed up the bank’s Technology Banking Group which provides expertise, financial services, and resources to help innovative companies advance new technologies and business models to solve complex global problems facing humanity, including population growth, climate change and environmental impacts. In 2009, Puon started Wells Fargo’s Global CleanTech Group to help companies decrease the use of fossil fuels, fertilizers and industrial chemicals. Puon holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Myra Beal
Chief Legal Officer
Myra is a venture capital and tech M&A lawyer (Mergers and Acquisitions). She acted as Infravision’s external legal counsel while working at Herbert Smith Freehills. She has market leading experience advising technology companies in capital raises, employee equity, secondary sales, corporate transactions, acquisitions and disposals and IPO readiness. Myra has also advised a number of venture capital funds in relation to start-up investments and fund formation and has acted pro bono for the Pledge 1% initiative and the Technology Council of Australia. She also has commercial experience as the former Chief of Staff and General Counsel at a large Australian SaaS scale-up. Myra holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Laws (honors).
Josh Williams
Director of Global Operations
Josh has a 15-year career as a Royal Australian Air Force Pilot and Qualified Flying Instructor. Josh’s passion for aviation, problem-solving, innovation and over 4,000 hours of flight experience allow Infravision to strive for and maintain a culture of ‘safety through innovation’. Josh is responsible for leading Infravision’s operations in new markets, aviation culture, training and product capability development.
Tim Hibberd
Operations Mission Commander
With over 20 years of military experience in delivering successful electrical, mechanical maintenance management and logistics support to Special Forces Aviation and Unmanned Aircraft Systems in the field, Tim has a broad range of knowledge and skills for adapting to the challenging requirements for rapid problem-solving to meet the expectations of our clients. As a team leader, his focus is on effective personnel management and leadership by example.
Michael Ferraris
Lead Engineer
Michael fostered his background within the energy industry to enable and lead teams to apply creative thinking, effective analysis, and structured processes to unlock opportunities and develop innovative solutions that meet operational objectives. He has a high level of experience in the Mechanical Engineering discipline and skills within the Electrical, Control Systems, Instrumentation and Power Systems Engineering Fields, as well as being a licensed Rigger. Michael has a passion for leading teams to successful solutions to accelerate the uptake of Renewable energy.
Adam Fleming
Head of Growth
Adam has 8 years experience in revenue generating technology sales and partnerships roles. He has a focus on driving revenue through mutually beneficial, long-term commercial relationships. Adam puts an emphasis on understanding key value drivers for organizations and navigating the complexity of B2B enterprise sales. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University, Sydney.
Lora-Lea Binaley
Head of Growth Marketing
Lora-Lea delivered high priority and impactful product launch campaigns for 10 years. She’s a leader for demand generation, field marketing and ABM across Cloud, B2B, SAAS and HAAS technologies for the Construction and Engineering industry in the public and private sector.
With a proven track record in delivering complex and innovative marketing programs, Lora-Lea is the primary driving force for planning and execution of strategic campaigns focused on global brand awareness, thought leadership positioning, customer advocacy, lead qualification, and sales pipeline leading to revenue generation.
Prior to her arrival at Infravision, she led the North and South America region marketing efforts contributing to the $1.2B Aconex Oracle acquisition and led the Americas region to the no. 1 performing position worldwide for 7 consecutive years.
Matt Johns
Head of Manufacturing
Matt has owned and managed a successful business for 5 years before joining Infravision. Through extensive composite manufacturing experience, Matt optimizes efficiency and leads the manufacturing of Infravision’s hardware products by following lean manufacturing principles. Matt also brings 10 years of experience as a professional sailor with yacht rigging qualifications, making him an expert in high performance rope testing and quality.
Loni Colen
Regional Director, North America
Loni has over 15 years experience managing sales teams and selling complex software solutions to Owners, Tier-1 Contractors and EPCs in the Construction and Engineering Industry. He served as a key member on management teams and helped develop business processes, sales strategies, and revenue growth initiatives. Prior to taking on the role of Regional Director of North America at Infravision, Loni achieved success leading sales efforts at Aconex and Oracle, leaders in project information management and project controls SaaS solutions in the construction and engineering space.
Matthew Jones
Regional Director, Asia Pacific
Matt brings 15+ years of experience delivering programs and projects to solve customers’ complex challenges within the Australian Army and as a Consulting Director at Ernst & Young. He commenced his career in the Army where he served as a Combat Engineer with domestic and international operational deployments. Following this, Matt commenced working as the APAC Enterprise Resilience Leader at EY where he was responsible for the revenue and delivery of risk and security transformation programs within the Energy Sector. Matt is passionate about ensuring our critical infrastructure assets have the support and tools they require to provide society the essential services we need.
Odette Van Der Berg
Business Administration
Odette has over 20 years of experience in business administration, human resources, recruitment, selection and training. She combines her knowledge, communication and organizational skills to support the Infravision team across all aspects of business management.
