We are proud to share our latest project case study in collaboration with Powerlink Queensland on the Genex Power project, where we successfully delivered draw line installation at an industrial scale.
Safety & Efficiency: By utilising drone and smart puller tensioner stringing technology, we minimise environmental impact and enhance safety, reducing the risks associated with helicopter stringing. This approach also reduces noise and disruption for local landholders.
Real-World Results: We’ve proven our technology on the Genex project, achieving up to 16 phase kilometers of stringing per day for a single system. Multiple systems can be used on the same pull run to increase productivity as required by the project. This scalable, faster, and safer method is setting new benchmarks for transmission construction.
Teamwork & Innovation: Our partnership with Powerlink exemplifies how collaboration and innovative technology can transform the transmission stringing process. By leveraging our drone stringing technology, we have achieved new levels of efficiency and safety, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the energy sector.
Future-Ready: The Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan outlines a bold vision with over 2000km of new transmission lines in the next decade. With our innovative methods and strong partnership with Powerlink, we’re ready to meet these ambitious targets, ensuring a sustainable energy future for Queensland.
Our collaboration enabled Powerlink to unlock significant benefits, from increased schedule flexibility and compression, the ability to operate in adverse weather conditions, and a notable reduction in safety risks.
