Infravision attends White House for President Biden and Australian Prime Minister State Visit to Boost US-Australia Collaboration in Clean, Green Technologies

Infravision, a leading innovator in clean energy technology, proudly announces its participation in official events, including White House visit, during the State Visit to the USA by The Hon, Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Australia in Washington DC. The State Visit celebrated the strong alliance between Australia and the U.S. in advancing innovation across Clean, Green, and Critical Technologies. 

The Infravision delegation, CEO and Co-Founder Cameron Van Der Berg and Chief Legal Officer Myra Beal, along with executives from Energy Impact Partners and Equinor, were honored guests at a Reception with Prime Minister Albanese celebrating leading Australian innovation and technology exports. In a private meeting with the Prime Minister, discussions spanned Infravision’s role in building critical infrastructure, its expansion into North America, and the importance of a focus on transmission infrastructure to energy transition. The meeting underscored Infravision’s commitment to global sustainability and its pivotal role in decarbonizing the world’s electric grid.

During the official White House Arrival Ceremony President Biden highlighted the enduring alliance between the two nations and announced the Australia-United States Climate, Critical Minerals, and Clean Energy Transformation Compact (“the Compact”). At the White House Van Der Berg engaged with US Ambassador to Australia, Caroline Kennedy and Australian Ambassador to the US and former Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd in discussions on Infravision’s cutting-edge robotic solutions for the electric power transmission industry and the potential for the Compact to further enhance cross-border collaboration in advancing Australian green technologies.

Van Der Berg expressed, “It is an honor for Infravision to be recognized on the world stage, not only for our contribution to the transmission sector but also for the vision we are building towards for the industry globally. We welcome the Australia-United States Climate Compact and are grateful to participate in discussions on the future of climate action and innovation focused on achieving ambitious global decarbonization goals.”
